The script is dire. I don't just mean bad, I mean it's bum numbingly awful. There are occasional hints at an underlying story that could have been quite interesting instead of the by-the-numbers dance flick we get.
Yet despite all that, it leaves a broad smile on the face because the quality of the dancing is so good.
