Review of StreetDance 3D (2010) by Jamie S — 13 Jun 2010

I wanted to see the widely praised dance sequences primarily, not really interested by the rest of the film. There were some interesting dance numbers. Maybe the film was hyped too much but I found the choreography fairly standard for street dancing.

The choreographers should have been more inventive since the film relies mostly on dance to keep the attention and the script and acting are not earth shattering. Mixing ballet and street dance is an interesting idea but we have to wait almost the end of the film to see an innovative number.
