Review of Street Trash (1987) by Chad O — 01 Jul 2007
This sweet lil' picture about hobos who explode after drinking tainted booze holds a special place in my heart. Gooey, messy gore FX are the highlight of the film as are some surprisingly quality character performances from James Lorinz, Bernard Perlman and Tony Darrow.
Excellent cinematography from steadicam operator/director Jim Muro (who was only 21 when he made this film) belies the low budget this film was shot on. A highly memorable (and messy) movie experience unlike any film I've seen before.
