Review of Street Law (1974) by Stephen C — 30 Aug 2012
An Italian Death Wish clone which has enough action packed moments but a saggy middle .
Franco Nero is better than Charles Bronson and here he gets to go the full demented as he tracks down four ban robbers who humiliated him during a robbery.
Director Enzo G Catellari basically throws in some lunkheaded violence and a hero who drives around in wait for it an AUSTIN ALLEGRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
The other problem is the middle section which contains lots of exposistion and lots of exposistion ,which of course build up to the fianl bloody encounter.
Apart from that the film is possibly one of the best Eurocrime thrillers of the 70s .
