Review of Street Kings (2008) by Joy B — 08 Feb 2011
A brave move putting Forest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves on screen at the same time; has there ever been two more complete opposites on the talent scale? As it turns out Keanu is fine in his role as the film is complete tosh anyway and so doesn't require him to do much more than be Keanu, which is something he does really well.
And then, if the film wasn't preposterous enough, Hugh Laurie turns up with his faux-American accent undermining ay remaining believability. Tosh. 4/10.
