Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Matthew L — 19 Mar 2010
A dull film that feels that the 'Street Fighter' name and characters were simply added as an after thought to help sell a second rate action script. The action scenes are largely uninspired and lack any imagination or originality.
I'd like to say that the cast is wasted but other than Clarke Duncan and Neal McDonough they are little more than eye candy for those who don't like to think. The least said about Cheng Pei-Pei the better, this is along way from 'Come Drink With Me' and 'Croughing Tiger.
..'. Avoid this film at all costs.
