Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Ronald M — 18 Jul 2010
There were too many "no way!" moments in a movie that seemed to be taking itself seriously for this Street Fighter to be good. Such as why does Chris Klein have psycho eyes, who is the blond Asian babe who butchers already terrible one-liners into dust, and are we really supposed to believe Kristin Kreuk is on a roughing-it mission living homeless in Hong Kong one second and a deadly martial arts master in a blue disco dress the next? This movie borders on hilarious; if only the players had taken it all the way, and not just half.
