Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Justin W — 29 Aug 2010
Kristin Kreuk was the only good part about this movie. The story was choppy, the acting was a borderline joke, and the only thing carrying this movie was the few, not so greatly edited, fight scenes thrown throughout.
There were some characters that were completely unnecessary in this movie and were just used for the sake of adding characters from the video game. Some lines of dialogue were a complete joke and made me wonder what direction they were trying to take this movie.
I'm still not sure if they actually thought they were going to have a hit or make it as a spoof. It was just an extremely unbalanced movie with far from noteworthy or memorable scenes.
