Review of Street Fighter (1994) by Jonathan A — 26 Jun 2008
The laughably bad live-action translation of the Capcom fighting game with the main characters taking on M. Bison's terrorist organization is still a cheese-fest of epic proportions, but for what it is, it's extremely entertaining as much as a demolition derby - because it keeps going and the action never lets up even though the story and script are crashing and burning along the way (as though it was written by a twelve-year old who thought he was funny).
I have no idea what the producers or heck, even the entire crew were thinking when making this, but apparently at least Jean-Claude Van Damme (as Guile!?) and Raul Julia (As M. Bison?!) seemed to be having fun.
Don't get caught watching this unless it's after midnight.
