People try to take this movie way too seriously. It's a comedy for crying out loud! The fight sequences were lacking and a few characters were miscast (especially Ryu and Ken), but the set design was awesome, the dialogue was brilliantly corny, and Raul Julia's excellent portrayal of M.
Bison made him one of my favourite villians of all time.
