Review of Street Fighter (1994) by Matt H — 07 Oct 2009

1: Ridiculous movie. I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it as a child, but it's lost a bit of its appeal over the years. It would have been a great comedy, but it's ridiculousness doesn't quite hit the right tone to really be funny as is.

I basically remembered all the characters from the game. It was definitely one of my favorites growing up and one of the few I really remember playing at Arcades or in Grocery Stores. The acting, story, sets, costumes, script, music, etc is too awful to be worth contemplating for the most part.

It was an interesting and memorable line up of characters in the game, but it didn't translate that well to screen here. Big surprise.
