Review of Street Fighter (1994) by Guido S — 28 Dec 2013
This movie isn't good, it is a mess, doesn't really have much to do with the source material, has cheesy dialogue, bad acting, sometimes over-the-top, but somehow this is enjoyable. JCVD is brought in to stop an evil super genius played by the great Raul Julia (rest his soul, especially considering this was his final film).
There are a bunch of characters from the video game, a lot of liberties were taken with their characters. A lot of times, this movie is just bad, but in a so-bad-its-good way. This is something to watch and laugh at, not with, but at.
Shame this was Julia's last film, he really put it all out there and didn't hold back. If only everyone else was even half as good as he was, this could have been truly good.
