Review of Strays (1997) by Christie E — 27 Jan 2008
A very strong start to Vin's writing/directing career, "Strays" is a fresh and very dramatic movie that displays the meaningless and closed off life of a man trying to find freedom from it, but afraid of the vulnerable route he would have to take.
The movie doens't play to a stupid audience and follow the standard of a 3-act film. It brilliantly conveys the choas by being choatic itself, and letting the emotions of the character acurately portray the story when words wouldn't do it justice.
