Andre Techine's most recent masterpiece is understated and haunting in all the right ways. Gregoire LePrince-Ringuet left a lasting impression as Beart's conflicted son. Great music, too. You get the sense that the film tells a story far more complex than what's shown on screen - always a good sign.
