A Hollywood couple (David and Amy Sumner played by James Marsden and Kate Bosworth) return to the wife's hometown in the South since her father passed away and she needs to get the house, car and other things in order for sale.

Upon their arrival, tensions build up since Amy's ex-boyfriend (Charlie played by A. Skarsgard) and the rest of the clan consider them snobs and think of David as a weak, not manly Los Angeles man.

David hires Charlie and his crew to fix the house roof, and old passions resurface. I will make a point here- usually I condemn rape but once you watch this movie and you see Amy's behavior, attire and the disagreements between her and her husband, you wonder that perhaps she asked for it.

..Its a shame David married her because he is such an intelligent, polite, handsome and civilized man. Amy is somewhat ignorant, a bore really and likes to show off in front of men...well you get the picture from here on.

.The last 35 minutes are intense and keeps you guessing who will survive! Deep in the South men hunt, kill, drink beer and have sex with women. Any deviation from that and you will stick out like a sore thumb and will get a beating.

This couple should have remained in Los Angeles, really its safer than the South ohh Lord..
