Review of Straw Dogs (2011) by Ileen R — 11 Jan 2012

I have not seen the original, so I really have nothing to compare this too. However the acting was less then satisfying. I expected so much more from the outstanding cast. Marsden was dull, and dry. Bosworth was whiny and unbelievable.

Skarsgard was visually pleasing as always and slightly creepy at times, but unfortunately failed to impress as an up and coming actor.. The rape scene added nothing to the story line, nor contributed to the build up of the final scene.

Which in its self was unbelievable.
