If you enjoyed the original, you will have a certain level of enjoyment from the remake. I am not a fan of remakes, but the actors in this flick make you either feel sorry for or complete despise the characters.
The wife in the movie is incapable of being a likable character in my opinion, yet the actress really pulled off the conflicted girl returning to a missed and forgotten past, only to realize the truth of what was left behind. If you are sensitive to harsh and uncomfortable situations, this is not the movie for you.
