Straw Dogs is the obvious remake to the classic shocking thriller 1971 Straw Dogs.
I am just going to keep this simple, Straw Dogs 2011 follows the same formula as the original Straw Dogs, and you would think for being a modern and a pretty big budget Director Rod Lurie would capture the sinister of the original.
Not in this case, It feels clutter, the performance weren't as good as the original, and the tension wasn't as high as the original, I guess is because of the score they play in the original.
Overall Straw Dogs 2011 on a film on its own tried to be different, but thanks to its sloppy direction, alright performance, and what through me off is the fact that it lacks the shock factor, and it felt too rushed.
