Review of Straw Dogs (2011) by Sandy K — 25 Apr 2012
Suspenseful thriller set in rural Mississippi, but ultimately just too much of an "ICK" factor -- not just the gruesome, violent siege at the climax, but the despicable behavior of so many characters.
I never saw the original 1971 movie with Dustin Hoffman (which apparently was set in England), but after watching this one I doubt I'll be looking to see that one either.
