A clichà (C) when properly used, can serve as a cornerstone in the construction of a good story. A clichà (C) used solely for lack of creative and intellectual capacity is only a certificate of incapacity.
"Straw Dogs" is in this second category of production, a poorly stitched bundle of clichà (C)s, juxtaposed with the sole purpose of getting over the shock and fear creeping. A representative disdains generic thriller without any inspiration or purpose.
