This story is completely hopeless... the original was terrible and it seems that the remake just managed to make it where the original did. Except for this remake it took the violence a little further, it does scale back the rape scene a tad.

I found the acting to be just as bad as the original was, but all in all the movie is just pointless. Its lazyly written and directed, or I guess to put it properly, its very simple. There isnt anything impressive about it that makes you go 'you have to see this movie' instead its just very boring.
