Review of Straw Dogs (2011) by Doctor S — 25 Jan 2013

Appeared to be a standard modern "horror" without the horror, but turned out to be a fascinating movie where I actually cared about the protagonist and was interested to see how it ended (haven't seen the original).

Skarsgard, although a mis-cast as a redneck was excellent. Lots of unanswered questions and unknown motives with multi-layered characters, which is what I like about a movie.
