Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Jonathan B — 16 Feb 2008
This movie is apparently banned in the U.K. to this day (that rhymes bitches). I was told this was because of the extreme violence in the movie. That's horseballs. It gets violent near the end, but no more than your average Tarantino flick. This movie is hilariously anit-people from the U.K. Every British person is portrayed as vile, drunk and/or stuck-up. I should point out that this means EVERYONE in the movie except American Dustin Hoffman.
Still it was a really good movie once it picked up.
