Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Sheila O — 11 Aug 2008
While not for the faint of heart, Straw Dogs one of the most powerful and provocative movies I've ever seen.
Some people criticize it because they think (and rightly so imo) that it is saying that sometimes violence is a necessary evil but I personally was rooting for Hoffmans' character at the end. Good on ya.
