Awesome movie. Psychologically ugly and violent. I love Hoffman's character; I'd imagine I'd be just like him in this situation. Similar to Blue Velvet. It's got everything you ever really wanted movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre to have; that is, some character depth and psychological background.
