This movie suffers from the same thing every sam peckinpah movie suffers from: it takes a long time to get going. but also, as with every sam peckinpah movie, once it does get going, it's an unflinching juggernaut of brutal violence and bloodshed.
and that's why s.p. is the man. come to think of it...my dickhead brother still has my copy of this.
