Classic Film of why you should not upset dodgy country folk! Itâ??s a great film and very well made. The first forty minutes is a bit slow, but sets the story out nicely. When geeky maths teacher (Dustin Hoffman) and his pretty wife (Susan George) are pushed too far by the unpleasant locals it all kicks off big time.
The only negative is the notorious unpleasant and disturbing scenes with Susan George, these would have been better left out. Besides this a superb film and a classic of early 70s cinema.
