Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Mark D — 10 Sep 2010
A brutal film in which a tight plotting and exceptional framing brings about the various themes. The destruction was particularly eloquent, the way the man's life is mathematically changed into one where human nature is swinging from difficult to comprehend points, just like that tool on his desk, the ball thingy, whatever the hell that is.
The slow-motion bullet blast was super cool too.
