3: Fascinating picture. Engaging, suspenseful, and thought provoking. Having an actor like Dustin Hoffman play this character is key to the film's effectiveness. The thesis seems to be that anyone can act in a monstrous manner if sufficiently provoked.
The location, cast, setting, etc all seem just right.
