Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Paul B — 24 Jun 2014
It's a great film right up until I figured out what Bruno was going to do with the lighter. Then I stopped watching because I basically predicted exactly what was going to happen. SPOILERS AHEAD YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Why doesn't Bruno just kill his own father and plant the lighter on his body thus framing Guy and getting rid of his father. Guy goes to jail, the other murder remains unsolved, and Bruno walks away free.
