Review of Stranger Than Paradise (1984) by Mark D — 24 Feb 2010
Every scene is technically beautiful and the film as a whole is photographically imaginative. For me its power stems from the characterisations (the 3 leads) and the way in which the film flows along with them.
They're not really up to much, but at any second something could happen that changes the whole film on its head. Nothing does, but its this anticipation that has you enthralled right through.
