Review of Stranger Than Fiction (2006) by Alex H — 16 Apr 2014
An enchanting comedy about an IRS auditor who suddenly finds himself the subject of a narration only he can hear, a narration that begins to affect his entire life, from his work, to his love-interest, to his death.
Actors Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal are brilliant alongside the always hilarious Will Ferrel. It is a film that starts like any other comedy but as it progresses it becomes a sensitive film that reaffirms the value of life.
A delightful original story that is a joy to watch.
