Review of Stranger on the Third Floor (1940) by Sergio M — 23 May 2010
Rare mixture of film noir and expressionism, with one of the best dream sequences in film history. peter lorre plays a similar role as his character in 'm', but in here he doesn't even open his mouth until 10 minutes before the end!! the end is too saccharin for my liking, but on in all a complete joy to watch.
