Review of Stranger on the Third Floor (1940) by Tuomas S — 24 May 2010
A solid Proto-Noir. Not particularly spectacular but interesting enough. Most notable as part of the link between Film Noir and it's expressionist roots. In some ways it comes off as a little "hokey", but it has it's moments (Peter Lorre being the main one).
