Wow, I'm shocked the ratings are as low as they are for this! I'm certainly glad I gave it a chance, I guess it's just my particular brand of funny. And now that I see it was a Kevin Smith movie, that explains a lot.
I particularly liked (most of) the various references to other movies, especially ones for other cop partner movies like "ok on 3, wait do you mean 1 2 Go, or 1 2 3 Go?" and even a subtle Fifth Element homage (as 'Paul' would say).
