Review of Stranger by the Lake (2013) by Miguel L — 13 Jan 2015
A dip in their definition of 'love' and covering up for each other was the climax, I think, throughout the movie. I lost it the art when the sex was pornographic; a movie need not show obscenity to procure a sense of passion. It was clear, all right.
Looking in a more realistic scene, all of us just want to cover up bad deeds, leave out those who've seen us in our old skin, and replace old companions. It's how it goes: People come and go.
