The first half hour was really, really funny. Then it got into extremely gross and crazy territory. I really love Steve Zahn and in a comedy, appropriately everything he says and does is funny. I don't know why a comedy with this many decent comedic actors had to go for the lowest common denominator.
Animals and humans getting eaten by other animals - I honestly felt physically sick at parts. There is also a useless dumb goodlooking blonde female character -- like I told you: LCD. Steve Zahn come on.
.. the jokes and humour were really good but all the violence and sick stuff was so unnecessary. I was actually excited about the plot, too, which rarely happens. Jonah Hill is funny I guess but he is the SAME PERSON IN every single movie and never varies, even when the time period calls for it, i.
E. in Walk Hard. Acting lessons could not hurt.
