Review of Strange Magic (2015) by Dane P — 09 Nov 2015
AWESOME! Story about seeing beyond appearances and finding love when you least expect. Perfect family movie. Brilliant musical score using/ mashing decades of greats. The talent is top including Kristen Chenoweth and Peter Cummings.
As much for boys as for girls. Acceptance. Great writing and comedy. This movie gets our first, well deserved 5 stars but should be 10! My genius son has AUTISM and fell in love with Strange Magic as much as I did.
Now he's also a fan of ELO too. We enjoyed picking out the songs from Elvis to JLo and Kelly Clarkson. Truly something for everyone. Your only regret will be missing your chance to experience this George Lucas gift.
Each character is beloveable. Sonny, MaryAnn, Bog, Dawn down to the Imp and the Mushrooms. Watch this...a few times. I have come to realize how lucky we are to still feel awe, wonder and magic when too many have become cold, hard cynics.
They couldn't even understand how great this movie is. Thank you to George Lucas and the brilliant talent for making Strange Magic in our lives!
