Review of Strange Brew (1983) by Kasper K — 07 Mar 2008
"Luke, I'm your father. Give in to the dark side of the force, you knob." For an allegedly stupid movie spin-off of two sketch comedy characters, this thing sure aims high. Did A Night At The Roxbury crib its plot from Hamlet? Did It's Pat have Max von Sydow as the villain? Perhaps they should have.
Only Wayne's World delivered so much with so little to work with, and that was nearly a decade after this. It always makes me laugh.
