Review of Stranded (1987) by Michael W — 09 Jun 2009
The cheesiest of the cheese, Stranded is actually a well-made sci-fi with one of my all-time best-looking actresses Ione Skye, who 20 years later still looks just as good. Skye and veteran actress Maureen O'Sullivan play host to "stranded" aliens trying to escape from an intergalactic bounty hunter.
The aliens themselves look alright, but you can obviously tell that they are just humans in pale make-up and retro clothing. But it's awesome to see RHCP bassist Flea playing a mischevious alien, more than likely the influence for his lengthy and non-verbal stint on the Wild Thornberrys.
