I don't listen to rap music or follow the music industry. So, this movie about how a bunch of young men rose to fame and fortune by translating the incidents in their tough lives to colloquial lyrics, was enlightening.
Two years ago, Apple spent $3 billion to acquire Beats, a company founded by Dr. Dre, one of those young men. This movie tells the amazing story of how it all began, in Compton, a poor neighborhood in Los Angeles.
A great watch.
