Review of Straight Outta Compton (2015) by Irshad H — 25 Dec 2015
Straight Outta Compton had tremendous performances by actors, and really had a solid baseline screenplay for them to perform off of, and altogether, they transformed into people who transformed themselves from actors into these legendary West Coast rappers, these larger than life figures, and I think they did them all justice.
Their portrayals as well as the director, F. Gary Gray's direction in the movie was excellent. One of the greatest biopics made, and possibly one of THE best biopics on musical artists, it even got NWA into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, finally.
