Straight Outta Compton bored the heck out of me. The storyline is like every other artist biopic that exaggerates trials and tribulation in order to create content (although somehow even more self indulgent than the usual in the genre to the point where it borderlines on silly).

Are people saying they like this because they are too afraid to say that they don't like it? I was expecting more based on the solid reviews but it failed to hook me so I lost interest and turned it off.
