Review of Straight Outta Compton (2015) by Ethan H — 02 Oct 2015
I saw this movie today with my dad in the theatre. It was an amazing, very inspiring and powerful story about the legendary rap group N.W.A. O'Shea Jackson Jr. did an amazing job portraying his father, Ice Cube in this movie.
It was very sad seeing what they had to go through just because they were black. The ending was rather sad, but a very powerful scene. The movie is also risquà (C), with the sexual references and (explicit, but not common) nudity, and the swearing, with a record of 293 f-words, but beneath all the risquà (C) content, violence, nudity, strong and racist language, and drug use, is a very powerful story about an amazing rap group.
This movie also has some funny parts in it, especially the part where Eazy-E is trying to sing "Boyz-N the Hood". These guys stood up for what they believed in, and they changed the world. If you don't know anything about N.
W.A., or you know a lot about them, you need to see this movie. In my opinion, my favourite movie of 2015. I highly suggest you go out and see this movie. You will be very pleased and moved. 10/10.
