Early on the commander contacts mission control about the stowaway (live conversation), earlier she found his work badge that states his name and department. Next scene, after she was in direct contact with mission control she tell the crew is that all they know -'his name and department'.
Whoa! you know this is how you start a movie, insult the viewer with blunt force head trauma.
