Review of Storytelling (2001) by Joanna N — 21 May 2008
Two unbalanced and unconnected shorts strung into a movie. They both come out feeling a little unfinished, but then my interpretation is the film is designed to make us more aware of who is telling a story and how - what they show and when, and the way that people infer the wrong thing based on what they are told.
Having drawn this message from it, I found the movie incisive, witty, and skilfully composed. Very rewatchable.
