Review of Stormhouse (2011) by Al M — 05 May 2012
An interesting premise that ultimately just doesn't come off. Blending the supernatural together with government conspiracies, Stormhouse is a pretty intelligent film, particularly in its depiction of the United States' detention and torture of suspected terrorist.
And it works well for about the first 45 minutes, but then it really begins to drag in the second half. Still, an original and fairly entertaining piece of supernatural horror that is never scary but that does provide some interesting twists on the genre.
