Review of Storks (2016) by Greg B — 18 Nov 2016
"Storks" is an animated film about the titular birds who mythically deliver babies to new parents. In this film, the storks haven't delivered babies in almost twenty years and instead deliver packages.
A precocious stork named Junior is facing a promotion at work until a Letter comes in from a boy requesting a baby brother. Junior and his human friend have to deliver the baby to its parents at all costs.
This film is backwards in terms of thought. The film industry shouldn't be teaching kids that babies come from storks. On top of that, the characters and plot are underdeveloped and I'm surprised a full length feature film came out of this.
It is a messy, cluttered narrative with too many villains and characters. This should have been a straight to DVD release -------------------------------------------------- C.
