Storks.

Initial Reaction: How did they get the idea that storks bring babies?

Main Characters.

Junior: He's a stork voiced by Andy Samberg.

Tulip: She's an orphan helper voiced by Katie Crown.

Plot Summary.

The storks have gone out of the baby delivery business; instead, they deliver packages - and are very successful (how that's possible I don't know).

So all they have to do is get rid of one employee - Tulip. But Junior doesn't have the heart to fire her, so he puts her in charge of the letters department.

And she get a letter from a kid who wants a baby brother. She accidentally puts the letter into a machine that makes babies, and the letter turns into an infant ready to be delivered (how THAT'S possible - don't ask.).

Now the two of them have to deliver the baby - and keep it out of the other stork's hands - um talons or whatever.

SCORING.

Main Characters.

These two really work well together - Tulip as a very confident girl who just wants to do the right thing, but doesn't. And there's Junior who is scared he'll lose his position in the company because of Tulip and the baby. SCORE: 9.

Supporting Cast.

The head stork is really good as a guy who puts his company before everything else. But the rest of the cast is annoying - especially wolves that can form into vehicles (again, don't ask me how that's possible). SCORE: 5.

Plot.

I liked the parts where Junior and Tulip have to deal with delivering the newborn. But the film takes a turn for the ludicrous near the end. SCORE: 6.

Originality.

It takes your average talking animal film and adds in a cute baby. But the main cast has some freshness to them - even if the story doesn't. SCORE: 7.

Violence Factor.

The wolves do some really crazy things that have no logic to them - and the action sequence near the end of the film is equally puzzling. Where did the head stork get that robot machine thing? SCORE: 3.

Other Moral Issues.

Okay, I've waited until now to point this out: STORKS DO NOT DELIVER BABIES! Okay, now that's out of the way, this film does a good job of showing how two different individuals can learn to work together. SCORE: 5.

Final Score (out of 60): 35 % Score: 58.33%.

This film has some great moments, but my logical side just couldn't accept some of the things that happen in this film.
