Review of Stories We Tell (2012) by Eurozoom D — 31 Jan 2013
A very compelling and ballsy doc from Canadian filmmaker Sarah Polley as she embarks on a very personal journey to discover her true father, and how she can put that into context with the family she grew up with and loved.
I give her a lot of props for being able to put the focus on the players surrounding her from various generations of her family and friends and put herself into the background in a way and let the stories play out as they may.
Also seeing the struggle of whether or not to go public once Harry true identity is revealed and various publications come calling to celebrate the news. A true gem.
